Client exports from Excel pricing tools need to be easy to export, easy to copy and paste, and easy to read.

The exporting piece should be a button-click clean file free of formulas, external links, named ranges, conditional formatting, hidden and grouped rows and columns, comments and notes, etc. A macro is typically essential for this.

Ease of copy and paste is simply a function of testing it against your proposal template for compatibility and adjusting until it's perfect. You want this ready in the tool itself, and not reliant on a macro to do the formatting for you.

Ease of read is a matter of clean design, compatibility with branding, minimizing wrapped text, and so on.
